🏳️🌈 Town in Focus: Torremolinos
🗓️ Week of June 2–8, 2025
“You don’t need to understand the tradition — just follow the music, try the rebujito, and let Marbella pull you into the moment.”
Baptiste Tweet
This week’s diary brings the energy:
🌈 Torremolinos Pride is in full colour, Marbella’s feria build-up has begun, and rooftop terraces across the coast are getting louder (and tastier) by the day.
Whether you’re already here or planning your escape — we’ve got paddleboard yoga, castle-side DJ sets, flamenco dresses, flamenco shrimps (yes), and a cooking class taught by someone’s abuela.
This is the coast in early summer: half siesta, half celebration — all sunshine.
🎉 Festivals & Traditions
Torremolinos Pride continues through June 7, with the big parade set for Saturday. Expect floats, drag royalty, and beach parties from El Bajondillo to La Nogalera.
Alozaina & Benamargosa host local romerías — decorated wagons, guitars, and slow processions to hilltop chapels.
In Istán, Día del Corpus brings beautiful sawdust carpet art to the streets on Thursday, June 6.
And yes — Marbella Feria starts Sunday, June 9. Listen to our special preview episode here.
